Reading the real stories and experiences of other women who have been in their position, and in their own words, can create a powerful connection. The design elements used have enough flexibility to display stories of varying lengths and content in a cohesive way.

The Ultimate Guide to Adoption

This digital download for prospective adoptive parents tells them everything they need to know about the domestic newborn adoption process. With different amounts of content in each chapter, the design challenge was keeping those sections of related information together, while flowing pages in a way that makes sense to the reader. Real LifeLong Adoptions families are incorporated throughout to invoke emotion and illustrate the success of LifeLong’s program.

Family Matching Tool
Role: Art Direction, Concept Design
LifeLong Adoptions’ adoptive family matching tool was created to give expectant mothers a more effective way to search and save potential adoptive families. With a series of questions about the mother’s pregnancy and preferences, adoptive families that match her needs are displayed one at a time. She can save families she likes, or skip to her next match. At the end she is offered different options for contacting an adoption counselor and viewing more about her chosen families based on her comfort level.

LifeLong Adoptions Responsive Web Design
Role: Project Manager, Art Direction, Concept Design
LifeLong Adoptions’ website has become a leader in online resources for LGBTQ adoption. To preserve that web presence, the responsive web design involved only updating visual elements while keeping the current successful content strategy and site structure. My design solution adds a modern menu, updated color palette, clear calls to action for specific user groups, and real LifeLong Adoptions families featured throughout the entire site.
